Activities: Paved trail  (former railroad track) for biking, roller-blading, or walking just down the road. Wrap around porch just 50 feet from the shore and a fire pit in the yard. 5 minutes to Veronica Valley or Leelanau Club golf, many wineries in area, fishing, fly fishing, charter boat fishing, shopping, restaurants, cinemas, museums, sightseeing, swimming, snorkeling, diving, parasailing on bay, jet skiing, water-skiing, windsurfing, sailing, boating, canoeing, rafting, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, snow tubing 3 mile away at Timberlee and sledding.

Area: 15 minutes to downtown Traverse City or downtown Suttons Bay. 15 minutes to Leelanau Sands Casino. 20 minutes to Cherry Capital Airport. 100 miles to Mackinaw Island and 20 minutes to Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Property Description:

This beautiful 2-story, Cypress Log Home is located just 8 miles from Traverse City, MI., in the heart of the Leelanau Peninsula. Close enough for many urban conveniences, but far enough away for a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. The location on the South East end of the lake, means plenty of sunsets to the west, and a tempered lake breeze. The wind off the lake also equates to an almost non-existence of mosquito's. (How wonderful!) There is a lovely wrap around deck over looking the lake, where you can relax just 50' from the shore.

The Log Home has 3 spacious bedrooms which can sleep up to 12 people. 2 & 1/2 baths, a great-room with fireplace, a laundry room, and a fully equipped kitchen, are just some of the many amenities. A large backyard and a 40' dock with a 14' Alumacraft row boat are provided with your rental. Lake Leelanau is a spring fed lake, with plenty of clear and clean water for your enjoyment.

Speaking of enjoyment, this resort has many different options on hand to meet almost any ones needs for fun. If sunbathing or swimming is not enough, we also have access to jetski's, pontoon boats and a MasterCraft Ski boat for rent, upon request. There is also a paved trail (former Railroad Track) for biking, roller-blading and walking, located just down the road. The trail is paved all the way to Traverse City to the South, and a dirt trail extending over 8 miles to the North. Great fun and exercise for the whole family!
