Our vacation homes are all on Lake Leelanau. Lake Leelanau is a sand bottom, 23 mile long lake, at the south end is Traverse City and at the north end is Leland. Lake Leelanau is large enough that you won't ever feel crowded. Boat on up to the towns for shopping and dinner. There is great fishing for perch, walleye, rock bass and small mouth. All sorts of water sports and, of course, great swimming in sandy bottomed shallow clean water.
